Minor in Agricultural Systems Management

The minor in Agricultural Systems Management is available to all students enrolled at Texas A&M University. The primary educational objective of this minor program is to provide students, majoring in other fields, with a fundamental knowledge of the fields of agricultural systems management. The courses listed below constitute the 18 hours required for a minor in Agricultural Systems Management.

Program Requirements

Prerequisites Courses

All prerequisites for each core and elective course also must be met. Prerequisite courses (e.g. MATH 140 and 142 or equivalent, which must be completed with “C’s” or better prior to enrollment in AGSM 301), will not be applied to the minor requirements.

Availability of Courses and Minor Recognition

The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering cannot guarantee the availability of the courses required to meet the above requirements. Successful completion of the minor will be certified by a degree audit in COMPASS during the semester of the student’s graduation. The minor will be recognized after graduation on the student’s transcript, but not on the student’s diploma.
