American Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers

The Texas A&M student branch of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers is dedicated to serving the premier preprofessional engineers in the fields of Agricultural Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering and Food Engineering with a means for developing leadership, making networking contacts and socializing with others who share their passion.

AGSM Student Branch

The Agricultural Systems Management club is dedicated to advancing the pre professional development of its members. The club is involved in many activities throughout the year which help students gain valuable experience in professionalism and community service and involvement.

ASAE ¼ Scale Tractor Design Competition

The Aggie Pullers represent the department in the National ASABE ¼ Scale Tractor Design competition. The team is assimilated from members of the AGSM club and the ASABE Preprofessional Branch which combine their skills in Project and Financial Management and Engineering design respectively. The team raises all of it’s own money to build the $7,000+ tractor.

COALS Council

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council is comprised of student representatives from 35 organizations across the college. These students serve as leaders in the council, college, university, state and nation. Members of this organization act as liaisons between the student body and the Dean’s office, promoting a communication channel dealing in student affairs concerning the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The Student Engineers Council’s mission is to serve as a representative voice for the students, societies, and administration within the Dwight Look College of Engineering, and to increase engineering awareness, and to provide for the professional advancement of Texas A&M University engineering students.

You can experience more than 1,200 events throughout the year across campus, including touring Broadway shows, concerts, and ceremonies. Check out all of the university’s landmarks and exhibits on the University website.
