Centennial Celebration

Texas A&M’s Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering has been educating students, meeting societal challenges with research and extending that knowledge across Texas for 100 years. The Centennial Celebration is the highlight event celebrating past successes, while also addressing challenges of the next 100 years. We invite you to register for and attend the Celebration, and to consider sponsorship.

BAEN Centennial Open House and Technology Fair
Scoates Hall | 1:00 pm  to 5:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon filled with Old Army stories, lab demonstrations, fun educational activities for kids, equipment displays, vendor fair and much more. Families welcome!

Centennial Banquet | 6:00 pm

Mix and mingle at 6:00 pm. The program begins at 7:00 pm.

The online registration and payment portal for the BAEN Centennial Banquet is now closed.  If you would still like to attend the centennial banquet please contact Stormy Kretzschmar at stormyk@tamu.edu for details and availability.  Daytime events are free and open to the everyone with no registration or payment needed.

Parking

The following maps will help you when arriving into College Station: Aggie Map | Visitor Parking Map

Handicapped parking is available in the University Center Garage (attached to the Koldus building). If you are in need of handicapped parking please use this garage. Once you arrive please contact Dr. Ron Lacey at 979.450.4286 for a golf cart pickup that will take you to Scoates Hall.

For those who will be attending the departmental banquet October 9th at 6pm, parking at the Hilton-College Station is free and unassigned.
