Brock Faulkner Entrepreneurship in Agriculture Lecture Series
Our final professor of the day for the Spring 2019 class is Clif Parks ’00. He will be discussing Risk Mitigation & Numerical Analysis.
The lecture will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. in Scoates 317. All students, faculty and staff are welcome.

Clif Parks graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Ag Systems Management (2000) and an MS in Agricultural Economics (2002) and is President and CEO of AgriLogic Consulting, LLC in College Station, TX. AgriLogic is an economic consulting firm that supplies risk management products and services to the agricultural, financial and insurance industries. Since joining the company in 2001 his roles have spanned the range of analyst to executive and majority shareholder in the entity. Clif and his staff oversee crop insurance program development and maintenance; portfolio management and risk allocation for insurance providers; as well as providing specialized economic, risk management, insurance and agricultural consulting services to a broad array of clientele both domestically and internationally. As a diversified agricultural consulting firm, the company has provided services in policy development, strategic planning, finance, information technology and management for both private and public-sector entities. The list of crops covered by such programs include corn, cotton, coffee, canola, bananas, papayas, citrus, raspberries, blackberries, olives, rice, peanuts, mint, cabbage, hybrid carrot seed, apples, soybeans and barley as well as a host of other commodities. In addition to his vast domestic experience, Clif has been responsible for proposing and developing several international crop insurance products in Australia, Brazil, Colombia, and Ireland as well as conducting expert evaluations on programs in a myriad of locations around the world.
