Leland Rocchio is President of the Commercial Building Group at Jordan Foster Construction, a Texas-based general contractor with offices in Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston and San Antonio. Leland hold a BS in Agricultural Systems Management (’92) and a MS in Construction Management (’94) from Texas A&M University and a PhD in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University. After college he spent several years working for the San Antonio Federal Credit Union as an Interim Construction Specialist before moving to Lyda-Swinerton Builders where he eventually become Vice President of Business Development. Since 2012 Leland has served as Executive Vice President and now President of the Commercial Group at Jordan Foster Construction in San Antonio. After spending over a decade working at construction sites as a member of project teams, and another decade in business development, Leland knows what truly drives a great construction project —and it’s not sticks and bricks. It is the mason, the carpenter, the architect, the truck driver, the client, the plumber, and all the tradesmen coming together to work as a team. Leland serves on the executive committee of both the Associated Builders and Contractors – South Texas Chapter and the Construction Industry Advisory Council for the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M. Leland is a husband, a father, a hunter, an Eagle Scout, and has been known to binge watch Netflix.
