Four Texas A&M University faculty members have been selected as 2013 SEC Faculty Travel Grant recipients. A program of SECU, the academic initiative of the Southeastern Conference, the SEC Faculty Travel Grant Program is intended to enhance collaboration that stimulates scholarly initiatives between SEC universities. The program offers faculty from each SEC university the opportunity to travel to other SEC universities to develop grant proposals and conduct research.
Dr. Clyde Munster will travel to the University of Arkansas to develop a joint study abroad experience for students in biological and agricultural engineering at both universities. Dr. Munster has led a study abroad experience for Texas A&M students to Belgium the last 9 years and looks forward to setting up curriculum and processes with his faculty colleagues to intermix students from the University of Arkansas into this high impact learning experience.
