BAEN Newsletter – February 2013

As I write these words, I feel great pride in sharing with you the accomplishments of our faculty, students, and staff.  It never ceases to amaze me how significant what we do is. Our profession has evolved from traditional agricultural production to engineering more efficient systems in biotechnology processes. And this is just one example! Still, basic engineering design is needed in places as remote as Huasta, a small village in Peru. Our faculty, students, staff and alumni continue to be recognized for their achievements, here and around the world. I hope you enjoy this issue and are as proud of them as I am. Got any interesting news? Drop us a note. We would like to hear from you.
