Agricultural Safety & Health Agricultural Safety & Health
The Agricultural Safety & Health program provides information and educational resources to encourage and promote safe production and processing of agricultural commodities. Program areas include agricultural chemical application technology (drift minimization, sprayer calibration, safe storage/handling of pesticides, and aerial application safety), machinery safety, farming/ranching with disabilities, wildfire prevention and preparedness, and home safety.

Irrigation Technology Center Irrigation Technology Center
The ITC website details the proposal to establish an Irrigation Technology Center for urban and agricultural irrigation to be located in the San Antonio area. ITC will test and certify irrigation products, developed efficiency and performance standards, and provide education and applied research services for the industry as well as consumers.

Lubbock Center - Irrigation, Water Quality, and Water Management Lubbock Center - Irrigation, Water Quality, and Water Management
The Irrigation, Water Quality, and Water Management program at TAMU-Lubbock Center addresses a range of water-related topics. Agricultural irrigation (irrigation scheduling, irrigation water quality, and irrigation technologies) is the primary focus of this program. Other program areas include water conservation, drinking water issues, and water quality protection. This web site offers links to reliable and practical information applicable for agricultural producers, agricultural and environmental consultants, irrigation professionals, extension educators and homeowners.

On-Site Wastewater Treatment Systems are the cost effective wastewater infrastructure for areas with lesser population density. A brief description of several technologies is provided through the publication series. An overview of the wastewater program is presented through research descriptions and educational materials.

The School of Irrigation conducts research and educational programs supporting the Texas Irrigation Industry. It is administered through the Texas Agricultural Extension Service and the Agricultural Engineering Department at Texas A&M University.

Texas Animal Manure Management Issues website, tammi.tamu.edu, is a clearinghouse of comprehensive information and education on Texas Animal Manure Management Issues (TAMMI) to benefit producers, agricultural business professionals, government agencies, private consultants, educational institutions and general public and serves as a one stop electronic library on this subject. The site is continuously up-dated with pertinent information. The "Ask the Manure Expert" feature has been an excellent resource for clients in Texas and other states and countries.
